BluegrassReport.org will cease to exist on Monday, according to founder and Editor Mark Nickolas.
Here in Kentucky http://www.bluegrassreport.org/, Mark Nickolas, has made us laugh, pissed us off, inspired us, and held politicians accountable.
When the history of Kentucky blogging is put to paper, Mark Nickolas will be at the top of the page.
I will never forget looking at my stats one day and noticed more hits than usual and they were coming from http://www.bluegrassreport.org/, so I went over to http://www.bluegrassreport.org/ and noticed that Mark had put a link on his site to mine. I emailed Mark and told him thanks. He emailed me back and said you deserve it. That’s Mark short sweet and to the point. When the Chairman of the Hardin County Democratic Executive Committee asked me to resign from the Hardin County Democratic Executive Committee, Mark stood up for me at a time when I felt all alone and deserted. I don’t forget things like that.
Mark’s new, regional democratic blog, RockyMountainReport.com, will cover politics in eight western states. Mark’s new blog will be a success, because Mark Nickolas will work his a** of until it is, that’s Mark Nickolas.
Thank you Mark Nickolas for everything you have done for us here in Kentucky.
