Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagine everything I’ve experienced since designing and installing the FIRE RON LEWIS screen and put on the back of my truck 08/25/05. Some Democrats felt and still feel uncomfortable being around me, especially if we are close to my truck with the sign in plain view, maybe they don’t feel comfortable around someone willing to express their real feelings, or could it be that they are not really democrats at all? People have stopped me in parking lots and thanked me and hugged me. People have honked their horns and give me thumbs up. People have yelled through their car or truck windows, fire all the expletive bums. While fueling up at the gas station, people take the time to tell me their story about losing their jobs and express their feelings about the cost of fuel. On one occasion I was told I was going to hell, you expletive baby killer. So two weeks ago I decided to start keeping the results of all of the input concerning my FIRE RON LEWIS screen and call it the informal Hillbilly Report Poll. The poll results for 06/23/06 thru 07/07/06 are 45 honks thumbs up and 1 honk thumbs down. The 06/23/06 thru 07/07/06 poll results seems to indicate Hardin County is ready for change. I encourage both Democrats and Republicans to participate in the current ongoing Hillbilly Poll.
