Dear Mr. Pence,
I wanted to share the good news. The criminal charges against me have been dismissed.
Also, I did not have knowledge of this until March; but the Cabinet of Health and Human services, on behalf of my ex husband made a finding of child neglect against me sometime in October 2006. They initially found no neglect on my marching with a sign in public trying to raise money to buy my son's medicine. However, they opened a second case on the same exact facts and never contacted me about opening the second case. They substantiated the second case, and put my name on a database of child abusers which is why I haven't been able to get a job. (I have a bachelors and a Masters of music education along with my law degree).
I had requested a findings letter in March 2007 about the first case because they hadn't sent me one. After receiving notification, I immediately appealed and had an administrative hearing two weeks ago. The administrative hearings officers have decided to overturn the substantiation of child neglect.
I know it may have seemed like it didn't accomplish much putting the video out there, but sometimes in life you just have to make your stand. It absolutely did help me, just not with the impeachment. Thank you soooo muuuuchhhhh!!!!!!!!
