The Pentagon report "Iraqi Perspectives Project" will not be online or sent out by mass email. If you want a copy of the report, you will have to ask for it and the United States Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia, will mail the report on a CD.
It seems to me this is just another case of our government making information they aren't proud of difficult to get.

The Pentagon report will surely bring additional critical attention to the Bush Administration as America approaches March 19, the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War. The Pentagon report confirms what many anti-war advocates have been saying all along and that is there was no evidence found showing that Saddam Hussein supported al-Qaida. According to a report by military.com, ABC News obtained an executive summary of the Pentagon report that says Saddam Hussein's main contacts with terrorist groups were with Palestinian terrorist organizations and pan-Islamic groups.
The Pentagon report is based on a study of more than 600,000 text, audio, and video files and documents obtained by U.S. forces during the siege of Iraq. Additional evidence used in the Pentagon report comes from U.S. military interrogations of top ranking officials in the Saddam Hussein regime. Jonathan Karl, ABC News reporter, posted a copy of the Pentagon report's executive summary at ABC News.com (click here to read.) Karl says mass distribution of the Pentagon report was cancelled because early media reports proved it was too politically sensitive.

It's not clear at this time as to how the report can be obtained, but the folks at REWINN.COM seemed to have some luck. I've done the same thing and I am currently waiting for a reply.

 

Dennis Kucinich Is The Recipient Of Our Prestigious Hillbilly Of The Week Award, For Filing Articles Of Impeachment Against Dick Cheney!

Congressman Dennis Kucinich has now filed his three articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney, and the Ohio Democrat is clearly serious about the holding the vice president to account for manipulating intelligence to fabricate a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, manipulating intelligence to fabricate a relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda, and openly threatened aggression against Iran absent any real threat to the the United States.
Kucinich's House website contains the text of the resolution, H.R. 333, along with pages of documentation supporting the articles, a summary of impeachment procedures, and a copy of the congressman's letter to the vice president.
On Tuesday afternoon, Kucinich explained his initiative at a Capitol Hill press conference that he began by delivering the following statement:
We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights; that, among these, are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the government; and, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it.
These words from the Declaration of Independence are instructive at this moment. Because not only whenever any form of government, but whenever any government official becomes destructive of the founding purposes, that official or those officials must be held accountable.

Somalia: US strikes al-Qaida suspects

The US military attacked suspected members of al-Qaida aligned with the former Islamic rulers who retreated from Mogadishu who were wanted for two US embassy bombings, a government official said Tuesday.
"The US were trying to kill the al-Qaida terrorists who carried out the bomb attacks on their embassies in Kenya and Tanzania," Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Aideed told The Associated Press. "They have our full support for the attacks."
The attacks took place on Monday afternoon in Badmadow, an island on the southern tip of Somalia and close to the Kenyan border, eyewitnesses told the AP. The area is known as Ras Kamboni and is believed to be a suspected terror-training base.
"The strike was carried out after it had been confirmed that al-Qaida members are hiding there in the area," government spokesman Abdirahman Dinari said.
