Senator Mitch McConnell just don't get it. He still refers to 911 when he speaks of Iraq. Does he think we are totally uninformed?
Senator Mitch McConnell showed his complete insensitivity towards our troops in Grayson County, Kentucky when he uttered this remark "“I won't tell you everything is great in Iraq; it is not. But we want to keep a steady flow of funds so that we don't disrupt the military,” said McConnell. “Unfortunately, most of our friends on the other isle are having a hard time admitting things are getting better; some days I almost think the critics of this war don't want us to win. Nobody is happy about losing lives but remember these are not draftees, these are full-time professional soldiers.
Yes Senator McConnell they are professional soldiers and they are worthy of professional leadership, leadership you are not capable of giving. By the way Senator tell us about your dubious military service, if you think we can stomach it.
Senator McConnell are you aware that nearly 6 in 10 military families disapprove of Bush's job performance and the way he has run the war, rating him only slightly better than the general population does or are you totally out of touch with reality?
Senator McConnell sir, the people here in Kentucky have been trying to tell you how they feel about the Iraq war and how you and King George got us into it, but you just won't listen. Well sir you'll be listening in November when we kick your ass out of Washington!!!!!
