Intelligence Report column in PARADE magazine:
“American employees must be punctual, dress appropriately and have good personal hygiene,” says Chao. “They need anger-management and conflict-resolution skills, and they have to be able to accept direction. Too many young people bristle when a supervisor asks them to do something.”
I hope Elaine passes this information on to her husband Senator Mitch McConnell, because his boss, the people, can’t get him to accept direction, and his personal hygiene is deplorable, just look at his teeth, opps I mean tooth.
Or possibly part of a tooth!! So what are we hearing against McConnell hillbilly? Please don't tell me Lunsford!! Would rather see Stumbo. Who else we got? We need to find a candidate to start raising money for!!

I hope it ain't Greg that's gonna get the nod to run against Mitch, but I fear the worst. I read a recent article, Lex Hrld I think, where he was touting himself in a less than disingenuous way. His best line was, when asked who the Dems might run against Mitch, Greg humbly opined that he hoped it would be someone like him, and went on to volunteer that, after all, he had a great record as a legislator (somewhat true, since he was Progressive at times).
But what really scared me in that article was that Mitch's Chief of Staff, or one of the many other high-priced flacks he has begun to collect around him in anticipation of very real opposition in KY this time, also spoke up and offered that Greg Stumbo would be the very kind of candidate Mitch was preparing to run against. That was a not-so-subtle endorsement of the man the Repubthugs want to see as an opponent.
I'd bet they've got the book on Greg already prepared. Hey, they won't even have to do oppo research ... Greg's negatives are so well known that Mitch could probably slice and dice him from memory.
It can't be Greg, much as he might deserve respect, kudos, and even a good-paying job with lots of political prestige for the yeoman's work he's done on exposing the Flying-Preaching-Doctoring Boy Gov for what he is.
Greg oughta trim back his sights. He should be thinking of taking out Silver-tongued and silver-haired Hal. Now that's a job he could win in an election and a place he could shine, the US House of Rep.
But it can't be Greg against Mitch. Only a decision like that could deny us our chance to ditch Mitch this one last time. HB.
